4/13/2012 - It has been a year since Lik had a surgery removing a cyst on the left side of her face (the swollen part between her left ear and mouth.)
 

I feel sad that Lik could not even pass the 1st anniversary after her surgery.  I remember when Ball and Fatty discovered Lik's cyst in 3/2011, they thought it was a fibrosarcoma (Bart's tumor that grew from the skin), and they both cried while cuddling all 3 of us together.

A year ago today (4/13/2011), Lik told me that she is quite scare about the whole surgical process.  Ball and Fatty first locked her up in the cage early in the morning and took her away while Lik was meowing violently.  Lik was gone the whole day. 

When Lik was brought home in the evening, she had this strange plastic collar (Fatty later told me it is called e-collar) around her neck, and she absolutely looked like a funny monster to me.  Both Mui and I had to sniff her all evening before realizing it's our beloved Lik.

After thinking of Lik, it reminds me of other cats too.  The 5 of us were eating in the kitchen together 3 years ago today (4/13/2009) like in the picture below.  Nowadays, whenever I walk into the kitchen, I am there all by myself, eating, drinking, sneezing, whatever...
