4/2/2012 - Let me wrap up Lung's story first from 4/2007.

Couple of days ago, I stated that Lung was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at MSPCA on 3/31/2007 due to his renal issues.  5 years ago today (4/2/2007), he was discharged and came home after spending 4 days and 3 nights at MSPCA.  At the time, Ball and Fatty were cheering and felt excited despite the $2,400+ bill.

All 6 cats, including myself, in the house at the time were enthusiastic to see Lung coming back in one piece even though some of his hair was shaved for cardioechogram and dripping IV fluid into his body (via a catheter) for flushing the kidneys. We took turns to sniff him because he smelled so different than all of us.  Though Lung was still a bit confused, as evident in the picture, with the whole situation.

These warm and cat family-oriented scenes are still buried deep in my mind, in which I will never forget until my heart stops pumping one day...

Tonight marks the first night Ball and Fatty going back to sleep in the bedroom since early March (Lik left on 3/20/2012.)  They turned the space heater to like 80F as the outside temperature has dropped to the 40's, but it was just too hot for my taste.  Even though they have installed a pet gate and kept the bedroom door opened (Fatty has never allowed that due to his minor allergy to cat hair), but I still could not get to sleep even at 2:30am.  May be I am accustomed to sleeping with either both or one of them in the living room...though I did not meow even once because I know they have to go to work early in the morning.
