5/21/2012 - In the past, it was just funny to watch other cats. A year ago today (5/21/2011), Mui did the usual thing of "training" Lik or telling what Lik shall do under her supervision. Lik went to eat dry foods, and Mui stood next to her expecting that Lik would drink water with her like 8 out of 10 times.
Mui was watching Lik as she was eating dry foods.
Mui waited patiently and Lik was about to finish.
Lik dared turning around and left Mui with drinking water with her! So Fatty stopped Lik and directed her to go join Mui.
Fatty successfully turned Lik around and told her to go drink water with Mui.
Lik went back near the crunchy bowl, and Mui was still waiting for her to drink water with her.
Then Lik turned around and left again! So Fatty had to intervene and directed Lik to go back once again.
Mui is still expecting that Lik would drink with her because Mui has been teaching Lik to drink more water in order to stay healthy. Mui probably learned it from Lung, and MaGi because both of them died of kidney failure, in which Mui had the same symptom.
Lik was getting a bit mad, so she opened her mouth and started whining. Mui was still waiting.
Lik first dipped her mouth into the water bowl, and Mui sort of knew that Lik is being fictitious. So Mui did not join Lik.
Mui was smart and fully understood Lik. Lik just left without drinking any water!
So, for the 3rd time, Fatty told Lik to join Mui. Look at Lik, she looked angry.
This time around, Fatty moved the water bowl closer to both Mui and Lik. Poor Lik, I could tell she just wanted to leave the area.
Look at Lik! She stuck out her tongue and totally ignored both Fatty and Mui. Lik was such a stubborn cat despite that all of us treated her like a 2nd class citizen when we were younger.
Lik did not compromise with Fatty's and Mui's demand, and she tried to leave the area once again!
Fatty did not block Lik this time, instead, he comforted Mui. Mui has been lecturing Lik to drink more water or ate at regular intervals in order to stay healthy, but it seemed that Lik just would not listen.
After a few seconds, Mui left the area as well.
After that, Mui simply went to the window table and watched birds.
Though in a short while, both Mui and Lik went back to the kitchen again because there was sunlight shining through the window.
When I think of these silly scenes these days, it just makes me laugh and feel nostalgic because they were all precious moments. I wish I could tell Fatty or Ball, the only lives left in this house, that I feel lonely these days. I also want to tell them how much I missed the other cats who used to beat me up, played with me, ate with me, or slept with me.
